Seasons Change
Some changes are unavoidable, while others may be necessary. Regardless of where we stand, embracing the process in between is something we often look past or avoid. Celebrating where we currently stand as we approach where we are headed.
It can be the difference between short term and long term. It's the events that take place at dawn and have us at our desk until dusk. The same way seasons have a way of shifting and reminding us change is coming.
In Seattle, the days of the dark and grey are coming to an end.
The sun breaks and even falls for us all the same way.
Those same days we share are getting longer, it's important to reflect.
These buildings remind us of the life that exists within the city when the weather often keeps us inside. Illuminated, filled with people participating in their routines. The streets may be a bit lifeless, with rain in the forecast and sunsets as early as 4pm. But the building provides a vibrant indicator that many of us are more than prepared for what's to come.
Short term, Preparing for their favorite TV show or even trying to forget what may be on their agenda once Monday is here. Long term, looking out their window counting down the amazing days ahead. We’ve all been patiently waiting and those lights in buildings remind me of this every day.
Seasons change, and it's okay if people do as well.
